this place is amazing great food, nice servers and a lovely place to eat. the servers are really good as long as your nice ( nobody likes a rude person) the food is a perfect example of quality and quantity at a very good price. i love this place and the people the regulars as well every one who is nice is more then welcomed here although when busy you may have to wait so its always smart to reserve a table before hand. if your looking for a great place to eat and enjoy your self this is it. its family owned and music is good the food is excellent and the environment is pleasant. i strongly recommend this place
Been there so often I can't count the visits. Never been disappointed. The Cacciatore is amazing every time. Good price, huge portions, lunch for the next day as well. This is a real review, unlike Raxx down there, trying to submarine the restaurant with two bad reviews of the same experience five years ago. Mistakes happen, pal, get over it. The waiter is a 'scrawny clown' and a 'bonerack'(sic)? The place is a 'shoebox'? How is this in any way relevant? A 'real restuaurant'? They are a real restaurant the cook food and customers pay for it. And the kicker, that 'BEWARE of this restaurant, because If you have bad service the food won't be far behind' is a stretch. A real stretch, the kind that only an idiot would make. Fool.
I have been a customer of the restaurant for many years.I have noticed in all that time this restaurants focus in on quality, quantity, and service. It is not about turnover of tables.Yes there is a line up, yes you wait sometimes lengthly for Hot, Good, Food. There are many staff members to serve you and many other customers around you. I ask you to be patient and understand that everyone in the restaurant wants a wonderful dining experience, good food and at a resonable price. It's worth the wait if you relax and enjoy whether your in and out or sit for hours.
My co-workers and I have frequently had lunch at Amorosa over the years. The food is always excellent, and the service is good. We never have any problems with our reservations, or the service. In addition, we are glad it is usually adults only. Not every restaurant has to cater to children. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants a big, delicious pasta lunch. You will be coming back again and again like we do.
11-27-05 My wife made reservations for this restaurant for 730, confirmed by the scrawny clown on the other end. We get to the restaurant at 720 noticing that it is the size of a shoebox and It is full. The bonerack waiter says the reservations were for 700 not 730 and blames it on us, In a real restaurant, or for that matter any other venue with customers involved there should have been an apology, and they should have offered another time or certificate of some sort. My wife was extremely upset for being embarassed in front of friends and all the patrons in the establishment. I say BEWARE of this restaurant, because If you have bad service the food won't be far behind. Disgusting!!!!!!
I had reservations there last night with friends and I made the reservations for 730pm. I arrived at 725 and they had given our table away and said that the reservation was recorded for 7pm. We had no where to go and no dinner. I was not impressed. The server was far from sincear and clearly cannot take down information accurately. I will tell everyone I know that this restaurant has terrible service and that they do not want anyone to know that, seeing as every bad review gets erased after its written. To ensure that the public will be aware of the poor quality in service, I will be writing a review in the local papers and cultural papers, as that is what I do part time. Big mistake in who they treated badly. Sincerely- Very angry Customer
had dinner there and found that the chef likes to put GARLIC into every dish we ordered (we ordered a wide variety of foods too) ... it's fine for us but for our kids palates, it was just too overwhelming. prices are fair but space is very cramped and just too many tables in too small an area, not a child-friendly restaurant.
